Incredibly solid debut album. Fantastic production, vocals, song-writing. You can tell a lot of care and effort has been put into this. I see a lot of people comparing RAYE to Amy Winehouse, which I can understand, both having similar songs topically and similar voices to an extent, but I also feel that it's a bit reductive. RAYE is definitely her own person and artist, with a lot of unique aspects to her work that doesn't deserve to be reduced to being "Amy Winehouse reborn".
