A huge step up from her self titled debut, Fearless is an improvement in every way. These songs are so much better, I enjoyed every single one. Obvious standouts are Love Story and You Belong With Me, slightly pick-me lyrics on the latter aside. The production and instrumentation on this album are a lot fuller, supporting her vocals better than her debut, which had her slightly drowned out at times. There is an obvious and definite evolution in her as an artist here. It could be because this is more pop, less country. Looking forward to listening to Speak Now next.
