Cat Vs. Dog

I get what it's supposed to be, ironically upbeat, childlike music that sounds straight from a children's show but actually explores darker and deeper themes, but that doesn't mean it's good. Don't get me wrong, the production is fun, 13 year old me would have made this album my entire personality, but the shtick gets old by like, the third song. Is this Kero Kero Benito's thing? I hope not, I've heard praise of their sophomore release, Generation Bonito, so I hope this was more a concept album or something because there were points here I found myself almost cringing. I have no doubt this was fuelling Tumblr for months after it came out, I can feel the Sharpie-moustaches on their fingers through the speakers.
