There's a trend with a lot of Charli XCX's work where the second half really falls at the last hurdle. One of my biggest criticisms of her last album, Charli, was it was a bit bloated, and the second half was a good bit weaker. This album suffers the exact same fate, only its a lot shorter. Somehow, 13 minutes less still allows room for bloated, unnecessary tracks. It's lucky the first half of it is so good.
