Strong opening on this one, a step up from Parachutes, but it falls victim to what might be a recurring theme with Coldplay, in that the best songs on the album are incredible and seem to make the rest of the album mediocre and forgettable. Nothing bad here however, good lyrics, instrumentals, performances.
