I'm a big fan of Europapa, I thought it was one of the best Eurovision entries in a long time, so I was hoping some of that magic was going to be captured here again, I mean, there's 24 songs, surely one of them is on par with it. Were any of them? No. That doesn't mean this is a bad album however. Joost doesn't take himself too seriously, and while that makes for some fun tracks, on others, you kinda wish he did. Some of these songs feel low effort and rushed. Surprisingly though, I didn't feel the 54 minute runtime, most of these songs are pretty short so it kinda just zooms by. There's definitely good production on here, not much substance lyrically, but that's not what Joost is for. Joost is for kooky eurodance, pop-rap head boppers. And he does a good job at it.
