I genuinely do not understand how bad this album was rated when it released. The general public did not like this at all which is insane because (unpopular opinion) this is his best work (at the time of reviewing). Incredibly raw, heart-wrenching lyrics, fantastic instrumentals, great vocals. This feels like the best parts of his previous albums all in one. His best opening track in Reputation, into the actual best run in his discography from track 1 to 4. Lemon Tree is the acoustic track we have been waiting for since Stay on beerbongs & bentleys. Wrapped Around Your Finger is the synthy sequel to Circles. Amazing vocals on Love/Hate Letter To Alcohol (which is incredible performed live btw). Euthanasia is painfully beautiful, When I'm Alone makes you want to sing at the top of your lungs. And an outstanding finish (in the deluxe version) with Waiting For Never and Hateful. Gun to my head if I had to say ANYTHING negative about this album, maybe I Cannot Be is a weak-point and maybe the features aren't as great as on previous albums, but that's it. The bar has been raised for his next release this July.
