What an incredible follow-up, one year after his last release. Everyone always wanted a guitar album out of him and here it is. It's got everything from choirs, to fantastic songwriting, powerful vocals and brilliant production. Another perfect opening in Don't Understand, followed in suit by Something Real. Novacandy flows beautifully into Mourning. You can tell he had fun making this album just by listening to Too Cool To Die, Sign Me Up and Speedometer. Beautiful acoustic songs nearly on par with Feeling Whitney from Hold My Breath and Green Thumb. Laugh It Off is my favourite song on this album, and is a perfect closer, with Joy being a brilliant bonus track. I notice that Texas Tea seems more suited to being on Twelve Carat Toothache, it's in the same vein as Insane, while Lemon Tree from that album feels like more of a fit here. This is absolutely the standard for Posty and I really don't know how he can top this. He's making music for himself, and the outcome is top tier.
