Really great album. Love the instrumentals on here, really thick and layered, so much texture. Vocally, really authentic, the lead singer's voice really scratches an itch for me, especially on higher notes where her voice cracks actually fit really well. Despite thematically feeling dark and seedy, it also has a cautiously optimistic undertone, as if to say "bad things have happened and will continue to happen, but it's fine, things will be OK".
