I was on board at first, and for some aspects of the album I still am, but I just can't get behind her voice. She's not a bad singer, I'm just not a huge fan of the tone / texture of her vocals. The song-writing here is good for sure, but I think I have the same issue here as I do with Freya Ridings, sometimes the singing is a bit throaty and it leaves me wondering what she actually just said. I think the production sorta makes up for it, there's some really pretty guitars.
