We're Thinking the Same Thing
Way more stripped back than anything Geese has put out, Heavy Metal is a really well rounded album with a lot to offer. The vocal performances are incredible for one. Drinking Age is so haunting, especially with the twinkly piano in the background. Nausicaä is another standout vocal moment for me. The tone throughout is solemn, apart from a little break with the more upbeat Love Takes Miles. The writing is stellar, going back to Drinking Age, just expertly written. I love this overall, and will definitely be on repeat.
