I liked this album. Production is pretty stripped back, but it doesn't need to be anything more than that, she makes it work. Lorde isn't the best singer in the world, but again, she doesn't need to be. A lot of themes around materialism, growing up, personal development, feelings of inadequacy. I don't imagine I'll come back to this album often though really.
