I kept seeing people saying that this album was an experience, an instant classic, and something they wish they could listen to for the first time again. Obviously, this made me very excited to finally listen to it. Having just finished listening, it's good. That's pretty much it. It's not outstanding, it's not mindblowing. It's well produced, well written, engaging indie post-rock. I think For the first time is better, and for me, nothing here comes close to giving me the feeling I felt the first time I listened to Opus, from that debut.
