A beautifully crafted album that feel's like a more honest return to his earlier work. As much as I enjoyed 22, A Million, it was cryptic and abstract in a way that felt distant and closed off. It was like Vernon kept the listener at an arm's length the whole time. i,i however is a refreshing embrace. Production is stellar and layered, as are the vocals.
